Mentor Trail

Mentees attest that you changed their path, building a lineage tree of who you lifted up.

Dele spent years answering newbie Solidity questions in Discord. Mentor Trail lets each person he helped mint a short thank you attestation, and his profile now shows a living tree of 60 builders, 12 of whom shipped mainnet apps.

Mission

Make the invisible work of teaching others visible and portable, so the people who lift others up can show it in their own words.

The need

The people who teach newcomers in Discords, study groups and office hours do work that shapes careers, and almost none of it shows up anywhere. Mentees want a way to say thank you that lasts, and mentors want proof of impact that is not a self-written bio.

What it will never do

  • Never mint a thank you the mentee did not sign.
  • Never put note text or private links onchain.
  • Never list someone as a mentor who has not accepted.
  • Never sell or rank people by tree size for hiring.
Owner playbook

Pick your voyage

Mentors do years of invisible work that never shows on a resume. Own Mentor Trail and you run the place where that work becomes a living, verifiable lineage, from your wallet and brand. The mentors, the communities and the record of who lifted whom are yours.

Straight answers

Before you own it

Will people feel weird asking for thanks?

Make the mentee start it, not the mentor. Your job is a gentle prompt and a beautiful card, not an ask for praise.

Who pays for this?

Mentors rarely pay; programs do. Bootcamps and ecosystems need proof of impact for their funders, and this is that proof.

I can't code.

You do not need to. Mentor Trail arrives working, deployed from your own wallet with a written guide for every step. You will click, paste and fill in names. If you ever want a change you cannot make, the custom option or a freelancer can handle it, but the first launch needs no code.

Is it really mine?

Yes. The contract is deployed from your wallet on Base, the code sits in your own git repo, and the name and brand are yours. DEPLOYR does not hold your keys or take a cut of what Mentor Trail earns. If you stop paying anyone tomorrow, the app keeps running on your wallet.

What if nobody uses Mentor Trail?

That is the most likely early outcome, and it is fixable. The paths below start with you as the first user, then ten real mentors, community leads and teachers you can name today. If ten people you message do not care after you have shown it to them, you have learned something useful in a week instead of a year.
