TxFlow Points Season 1 Guide: How Points Actually Work
TxFlow Points Season 1 explained: 1.25M trader points a week, six scored dimensions, what earns nothing, vault TVL and pre-season. Oct 2026.
TxFlow Points Season 1: How the Points Actually Work
Short answer: TxFlow Points Season 1 pays out 1,250,000 trader points every week, shared among eligible perp traders according to six scored dimensions. It started on October 12, 2026, credits every Tuesday, and ends no later than Q1 2027. As of October 23, 2026, Season 1 is in Epoch II. Only perp trades earn. Spot and prediction trades do not. > "Points are a slice of a weekly pie. The pie is fixed. Your job is to be the trader TxFlow wants more of."
What are TxFlow points?
TxFlow points measure your perp trading contribution and are paid as a share of a fixed weekly pool. They are not a fixed reward per trade. If more people trade in a week, the same 1.25M points get split more ways. That one fact changes how you should farm it: a small, steady trader can beat a big, sloppy one.
Points are not a currency. They cannot be transferred, bought or sold, and they stay with the wallet that earned them. TxFlow says it will not move them even if your wallet is stolen or you lose your keys.
How is Season 1 distributed?
Season 1 splits its budget into three pools: 82% traders, 10% referrals and 8% growth.
| Pool | Share | Basis | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trader | 82% | Weekly | 1,250,000 |
| Referral | 10% | Weekly | up to 152,000 |
| Growth Reserve | 8% | Monthly | 488,000 |
- Trader pool: shared each week among eligible perp traders.
- Referral pool: referrers get 10% of the points their referred users earn, paid from this separate pool, so it never cuts anyone's trader points. Anything unused that week is burned.
- Growth Reserve: a monthly budget for community trading campaigns and builder programs. Unused points roll over month to month and burn at the end of the season. TxFlow says the team will never use them for its own benefit.
When are points credited?
Each epoch runs Monday to Monday (UTC), and points land on the Tuesday after it ends. Epoch I ran from October 12 and was credited on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Epoch II is live now. This weekly epoch has nothing to do with the chain's consensus epochs you may see in the API.
What counts toward TxFlow points?
Perp trading counts, maker and taker both. The live Points page names six dimensions:
The weights are confidential. TxFlow says it hides them so people trade genuinely instead of trading a formula. It may add, remove or refine factors during or between seasons. There is also a minimum amount of genuine trading per epoch: miss it and that week pays zero.
What does not earn points?
Spot trading, prediction market trading, cancelled orders and idle capital earn no Season 1 points. The exact list:
- Spot trades and Prediction Markets (Season 1).
- Orders placed but cancelled before they fill.
- Depositing, withdrawing, or holding a position on its own.
- Testnet activity, and trading on delisted markets after delisting.
- TxFlow-operated accounts.
The nuance people miss: your balance and open positions do feed your score, but only when you are also trading. A deposit that sits there earns nothing by itself.
Do vault deposits count toward TVL Contribution?
TxFlow has not confirmed whether vault deposits count toward TVL Contribution. Here is what is verified. The official Liquidity Provider protocol vault takes USDC, makes markets and takes over liquidations. On October 23, 2026 it showed a past-month APR of +29.24% on about $9.22M TVL, with no profit share and a 4-day lock-up. Funds in a vault no longer count as trading margin.
My read, and it is only my read: vault USDC is capital kept on the platform, which is what TVL Contribution describes, so it plausibly helps your score when you also trade. It will not earn points by itself. I treat the vault as the yield leg and any points lift as a bonus. The APR is a dated snapshot; vaults are not principal-protected.
What about trading before Season 1?
TxFlow says early activity before Season 1 will be covered in a separate announcement. Nothing more is published yet. If you traded during the invite-only period before October 12, keep that wallet safe and watch official channels. Do not trust any site that tells you a pre-season amount.
How does TxFlow stop farmers?
TxFlow caps how much the largest traders can take and runs automated and manual Sybil checks. The Points Program Terms ban wash trading and self-matching, multi-account farming, artificial volume, referral abuse (including signing up under your own code through another wallet), exploiting bugs, reverse-engineering the scoring, and spoofing or layering. Wallets clearly run by one person can be treated as one user. Points tied to farming can be reduced or deducted retroactively, and repeat offenders can be excluded from points (but can keep trading).
Third-party points calculators are not endorsed and do not decide your points.

Is there a TxFlow token?
There is no TxFlow token, TGE date or conversion rate as of October 2026. The terms say points "may be one of the factors" for any future token distribution, which would be announced separately. Reports of a "confirmed" Q1 2027 airdrop misread the Season 1 end date.
