Status (October 2026): Apyx postponed the APYX token launch, which had been set for October 13, 2026, to build its RWA platform first. No new date is set. Season 2 Pips is extended past its original October 11 end, and its share rose from 6% to 9% of supply. Season 1 (5%) and Season 2 both unlock fully at TGE (KuCoin summary). Apyx also launched aptUSD, backed by government bonds. Start on Apyx.
A delayed TGE sounds like bad news. For anyone still farming, it is more time and a 50% bigger pool.
What it is: the first Dividend-Backed Dollar (DBD). It turns the roughly 11.5% annual dividend, paid monthly, of Strategy's Nasdaq-listed STRC into on-chain yield. Live on Ethereum and Base (Solana announced).
Three tokens: apxUSD (the stable layer), apyUSD (yield-bearing, accrues the STRC dividend) and APYX (future governance token that Pips farm toward).
What I learned: Pendle positions on Apyx pools qualify for Pips, so the yield-token play works here like Saturn's yt-USDat and xStocks' yt-STRCx . One STRC conviction can farm three programs (the thesis ).
How I'd farm it:
- Mint apxUSD on Apyx, then move into apyUSD for the yield and Pips.
- For concentrated Pips, check the live Apyx pool on Pendle; YT decays to zero, so treat it as spent premium.
- Spread the STRC thesis across Saturn (Season 2 to December 8) and xStocks (live xPoints).
The honest risk: apxUSD briefly depegged to about $0.90 in a Bitcoin selloff, and Apyx cited STRC's deepest drawdown yet when it delayed the TGE. A dollar backed by a preferred stock is only as stable as that stock. Size it like a higher-yield, higher-volatility dollar, not USDC.
