As of October 27, 2026: GTE is still waitlist-only, letting people in by tier in waves, and no token or airdrop has been announced. The official page now pitches a fully on-chain order book with perps, spot and "an API built for agents", and still names no chain or launch date.
I am on the GTE waitlist and climbing it. Here is the short version; the full walkthrough is in my GTE guide .
What it is: an exchange openly aiming at Hyperliquid's seat, backed by Paradigm (it led a $15M Series A; about $25.9M raised in total, with Wintermute and GSR). It is more than a perp DEX : you claim a username on the waitlist, which points to a social side. GTE split from MegaETH in August 2025 to build its own chain. I expect it to move toward Robinhood, but that is not announced.
The product stack: a central limit order book, AMM pools and a permissionless token launcher in one venue, plus perps. That combination is why people compare it to Hyperliquid rather than to a single DEX.
Is it still on MegaETH? No. When MegaETH closed its Mega Mafia accelerator in July 2026, coverage noted that GTE, a first-cohort project, had chosen to build its own chain. So I no longer count GTE activity as MegaETH exposure.
The security homework is public: Code4rena ran a spot order book and router contest in July 2025 that found 3 high and 4 medium issues, and a perps and launchpad contest (August 28 to September 25, 2025, $103,250 pool) that found 10 high and 25 medium. Zellic published several 2025 reports on the same code. Lots of findings before launch is what audits are for; the question for mainnet is whether the follow-up reviews land before real money does.
Where it stands: a waitlist with invites in waves by tier. GTE's own email put the list at around 150,000 people. I was ranked about 37,000 at Gold when I recorded. Higher tiers like Platinum and Emerald get in first.
How to climb: claim your username (+25), follow GTE on X and Instagram, and refer people who will use it (+50 per friend on the official page; ignore the higher aggregator figures). It is all free, and follows are credited after about 24 hours.
Don't fade GTE: that is what I said in my newest video, alongside two other free early-access waitlists, Catalyst and SmartX . Watch the GTE video walkthrough. The points are tiny by design: your position on the list is the asset, and referrals move it most.
Where I'd be careful: the real waitlist asks only for an email and your social handles, never a wallet connection, a signature or a payment. Robinhood rumours attract fake "GTE claim" sites, so use only gte.xyz and waitlist.gte.xyz. A 150,000-person list also means any future reward is shared widely.
No token is announced, so this is early positioning, not a confirmed drop.
