Principal token (PT)

A principal token (PT) is the Pendle token that redeems for the underlying asset at maturity, bought at a discount for a fixed yield.

Why it matters: PT buyers give up the points and variable yield in exchange for a fixed return. Points farmers usually want the YT side instead.
