Phoenix Trade Airdrop Guide: After Flight Club, How to Position on Solana's Order-Book Perp DEX
Phoenix Trade airdrop guide: Flight Club paid 420,000 USDC and ended Aug 23. As of October 2026, no token or points yet. How I'd position on Phoenix now.
Phoenix is the Solana perp DEX that most people know by name and few actually use. It is invite-only , it runs a fully on-chain order book, and it has no token. Its first rewards program, Flight Club, paid real USDC every day for four weeks and has now ended. This guide covers what happened, what it tells us about how Phoenix rewards people, and how to position for whatever comes next. Get in with my invite: .
As of October 2026: Phoenix is still invite-only with no token or points program announced, and Flight Club ended on August 23.
My take: Phoenix is a positioning play, not a farm, because there is nothing to farm yet. If I were starting today with a small budget, I would use one invite, keep a modest position open in a market I understand, and use it a little every day rather than churning. Where I'd be careful is leverage on a young venue: the next program is not promised, so I would not lose money chasing it.
What is Phoenix Trade?
Phoenix is a fully on-chain perpetual futures exchange on Solana, built by Ellipsis Labs. Their Phoenix order book has processed more than $75B in spot volume since 2023, and Phoenix Trade points that same engine at perpetuals. It raised $20M and is still invite-only.
The key difference from most perp DEXes is the order book. You trade against real bids and asks, transparent and self-custodied, instead of a pool that takes the other side of your trade. The markets are broad: 24/7 equity and commodity perps alongside crypto, including an $ANSEM market, and nearly half of equity-perp volume trades while Wall Street is closed. You can sign in with a Solana wallet or an email, and Phoenix perps are now also available inside the Solflare wallet.
What Flight Club was, and what it showed
Phoenix Flight Club paid 420,000 USDC over 28 days, from July 27 to August 23, 2026: 15,000 USDC every day, paid in USDC to traders' accounts and claimed from the rewards page. Daily shares came from trading, holding positions, referred volume and consistent use. It pushed open interest past $10 million for the first time and sent daily volume sharply higher.
What I saw on day one was the useful part. I ranked 1,174 on the daily board with very little volume, and the top of the board was not who you would expect. Accounts with modest volume but open positions held through the day ranked near the top, and some had almost no volume at all. The lesson: Phoenix rewards people for keeping positions open, not only for churning trades. Remember that for whatever program comes next.
Is the Phoenix airdrop confirmed?
No. Phoenix has no token and no points program. The team called Flight Club "just the beginning" of its plans, and well-funded perp DEXes have often rewarded early users retroactively, but that is a pattern, not a promise. The honest position: use Phoenix as a real user now, so any future program finds you already active.

How to position on Phoenix now
For builders
The order book is composable, so bots, analytics and integrations can be built on it, and builder activity on a young, funded venue is the least contested footprint there is. If you want a tool built, reach out on or , or ship your own through build.airdropsea.app .
Costs and risks
Fees are low and Solana gas is cents. The real costs are trading fees and the capital you put at risk in leveraged positions. Leverage can liquidate you fast, it is still a young product, and it is not available to US persons or where restricted. Only trade what you can afford to lose, use only the official invite link, and never share your seed phrase .
